Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep & Test

Prerequisites: Intermediate Manners or Instructor Approval 

6 week series

Prepare for and take the American Kennel Club test to officially make your dog a Canine Good Citizen (CGC). The 10 test items on the CGC test are practical behaviors that every dog should have to be welcomed in the community. The class also covers socialization and exposure to different people, animals, and environments to ensure that dogs are comfortable and well-behaved in any situation. This class can be taken multiple times.

This class can be taken multiple times until you & your dog have mastered the skills required to pass the CGC Test.

• This class is not appropriate for dogs with any aggression issues or excessive barking. Please check out our Private Training options for these dogs.

• Dogs must be up to date on all vaccines including Distemper/Parvovirus & Bordetella
